PackPixel

Batch-prepare product photos to a marketplace's exact pixel requirements.

Canvas padding, aspect-ratio conformance and SKU file renaming for a whole batch of product photos in one pass, entirely on device. Built for the moment a marketplace rejects an upload for being eight pixels short.

Marketplaces are specific about image dimensions and unforgiving about near misses. PackPixel takes a batch of product photos and pads each onto a canvas at the exact target size — padding rather than cropping, so nothing is cut off the product — and renames the files by SKU in the same pass.

Status

Export dimensions are verified on the produced files. The complete flow is being re-run after a fix to the media-library integration, so it stays listed as in development until that pass is clean.

Capabilities

Exact canvas sizing

Images are padded onto a canvas at the target dimensions; output size is asserted on the file.

Batch processing

A whole shoot is processed in one pass rather than one image at a time.

SKU renaming

Files are renamed to your SKU convention as part of the same operation.

On-device

Product photography is not uploaded anywhere.

Screens

What it looks like in use.

Select any screen to view it full size. Use the arrow keys to move between screens and Escape to close.

  • Select a batch from the photo library.
  • Choose the target canvas; images are padded rather than cropped.
  • Output is written at exact target dimensions and renamed by SKU.

Send the shape of the problem and any constraints you already know — budget, deadline, the stack you are stuck with. You will get a written reply from the engineer who would do the work, not a sales sequence.
